In 2010 Heath and I rode our bicycles from LA to NYC. In 2011 we went up the largest granite monolith in the world with Timmy Oneill and felt real real small and a little bit stupid. In March 2013 we will rent a raft, get dropped off at the start of the Grand Canyon, and will attempt to row 225 miles of the Colorado River for 18-21 days with no prior experience and no guide. Wish us luck…

God bless america and Jeff and Heath! I love your zany ass adventures.
Been there, done it…..and in a wood raft ( and with only one arm) and no cell phone or map. Only lost 2 men on my journey. But I say go for it young men…..as I do like your style and look forward to reading your updates. Cheers!
Everything’s been done. We are not tough guys, we’re just looking for a good time.
So far you have handled all of the freedom you can think up, I have no reason to doubt you will not handle this as well. Can’t wait for the tale to be told!
Don’t forget your floaties!
Ditto on the LIKE button comment! Can’t wait to read all about your upcoming adventure.
You guys are nuts + we love it. Thanks.
I wanna go damn it that would be fun.. Dont forget the beer of course
How are you guys circumventing the lottery draw to hit The Grand Canyon?
Turns out if you pick a date that nobody wants to go, you get a permit right away. i.e. February 11th.
Good luck! Into the light!
Cant wait to watch this one unfold. Good luck, bros! You got this!
best of luck fellas!
the colorado is a beautiful run. i went a few years back for a two week stint with some friends and a guide. pretty gnarly but not unattainable to do without prior experience. i dont know where your dropping in but i remember it got hairy pretty quick. you might want to at least paddle around a bit the rafts take a little getting used to. the only bummer i can imagine (outside of accidents) is getting pinned into some rocks and fucking up the raft before you get into the good shit – like lava!
i highly recommend checking out
fucking mind boggling shit these boys pulled, with some truly excellent vintage photos
heath your next adventure should be another video part. please. thanks
good luck to both you guys! can’t wait till you start posting about the trip
